China and India are gearing up for the 25th round of Special Representatives’ Talks focused on the Boundary Question, as confirmed by a spokesperson from China’s Foreign Ministry. During a routine press briefing held on Tuesday, the spokesperson highlighted that both nations are actively communicating on issues related to their shared border and are striving to implement the previously agreed terms from their last meeting.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is currently in New Delhi to participate in the 16th Meeting of BRICS National Security Advisors and High Representatives on National Security. In the course of his visit, Wang engaged in discussions with India’s National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval, on Monday. These talks are part of ongoing efforts to manage and resolve border-related concerns between the two countries.
The Chinese spokesperson emphasized that the overall situation along the China-India border is stable and that the communication channels between the two sides are functioning effectively.
